Deepika Padukone
Deepika Padukone, born on 5 January, 1986 (pronounced as [diPIkaPaduko] or [paDuko(pronounced as [paDuko]) is a famous Indian actor in films. Her main roles are in films that are primarily Hindi-language. 3 Filmfare Awards have been given to her, which makes her one of India's most financially successful actresses. Her name is listed in lists among the most well-known stars; Time named her one of the 100 most influential individuals in the world in 2018 and awarded her an award called the TIME100 Impact Award in 2022. Padukone, the daughter of the player of badminton Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and grew up in Bangalore. In her teens she was a badminton player in the national championships, but she resigned her sport to work as a fashion model. In 2006 she made her acting debut acting in the Kannada film Aishwarya. Padukone later played the dual role as Shah Rukh Khan opposite her in Om Shanti Om (2007), her debut Bollywood film. This film won Padukone an award called the Filmfare Award Best Female Debut. Padukone was recognized for her starring role in the film romance Love Aaj Kal (2009) however, this was followed by a brief setback.
