Amy Smart, an American actress and former model. Her modelling career began in Italy which is in which she was born and raised, before being born in California. Her acting debut came at the age of 16 in the TV movie Her Costly Affair. After a difficult fight her way to a role, she got a chance as 'Starship Troopers' in the film Starship Troopers. She struggled with the transition into acting since actors were never considered good actors, and they generally were offered less roles. Amy did not give up. She climbed the ladder to greater roles, starting in The 70s series and Varsity Blues film. After a few years Amy made the jump to more prominent roles. She starred in the 2005 love story Just Friends alongside Ryan Reynolds. Amy achieved the fame she'd been seeking for nearly 10 years, when her movie just Friends debuted. Amy continued to make significant films like the Crank series starring Jason Statham and the series Shameless where she played a well loved recurring character.
